Antigermix® improves standard of care by killing bacteria, fungi, viruses, mycobacteria, and spores.
3 minutes High-Level Disinfection cycle enhances workflows1
Proven to kill bacteria, spores, fungi, and viruses including HPV2,3 that causes oropharyngeal cancer4,5
Embedded software that enables viewing and downloading of cycles data
Close collaboration with leading medical device manufacturers
Chemical-free solution
Specially designed to ensure optimal UV-C radiation, the chamber provides effective exposure and avoids shadow areas.
This breakthrough technology both monitors the disinfection process and validates that disinfection is complete thanks to three photodiodes that capture optical radiation for:
- Monitoring and verifying that the HLD cycle is running smoothly
- Ensuring load release
- Replacing the manual verification process (chemical indicators and test strips)
Frequently asked questions
Germitec offers comprehensive training and accreditation programmes for healthcare professionals using Antigermix®. User training is conducted during the installation and digital training is available 24/7 on our website, including best practices for UV-C HLD, videos, references guides, safety guidelines, and infection control protocols. A comprehensive e-training presentation with a Competency Assessment checklist is also available.

UV-C HLD does not require the use of chemical disinfectants, which can be harmful to the environment, especially when disposed improperly. UV-C HLD technology uses minimal energy. It requires no single-use consumables, such as wipes or other disposables.
Learn more about Sustainability
Unlike traditional chemical-based disinfection, UV-C HLD is chemical-free and does not produce harmful fumes or residues, making it safe for healthcare professionals and patients. It improves Quality of Work Life (QWL) as it eliminates risks associated with handling and storing chemicals, reducing the likelihood of accidents or exposure.

Our solution has a IIb medical device classification and it is CE0459 marked by the GMED.
Norme ISO13485
Germitec closely collaborates with leading ultrasound probe manufacturers. Thanks to test protocols carried out in our test laboratory and co-validated with manufacturers, probes from the leading brands have been rigorously tested and approved. In addition, the compatibility list is regularly updated to include the latest models on the market.
Learn how Germitec manages its compatibility program
Antigermix® emits an energy wavelength of 254 nm of UV-C and the dosage emitted inside the chamber is part of a proprietary algorithm owned by Germitec and tested extensively - Yuvee®. The microbicidal efficacy of Antigermix® has been independently tested, following standards set by leading regulatory authorities worldwide. Its disinfection effectiveness has been tested on bacteria, fungi, viruses including highly transmissible, resistant HPV2,3, mycobacteria, and spores.
